Resistancy against cleaners

AKM versions "W" (Washdown) and "F" (Washdown Food) are resistant against industrial cleaners.
The part number scheme defines the coating of the motor housing (typen "W" for Washdown and "F" for Washdown Food) in the "Customization" code (last two digits) and the flange coating separated.
Examples:

AKMzzz- W yyyyy0 W   Washdown with flange coating of the IEC A flange
AKMzzz-yyyyyy0 F   Washdown Food without flange coating

Washdown

Target Market:  Rough environment, outside use.
For example: transport in food and beverage industry without contact to beverage/food, radar&network stations, wind turbines, naval applications
Standards:  UL, CE, RohS
Surface:  Silver coating
Resistancy:  Against tested cleaning agents (see Test Report ), corrosion resistant
Protection class:   IP67
Shaft:  stainless steel (chrome steel X40Cr14)
Shaft seal:  PTFE
Lubricant:  industrial lubricant for bearings, not suitable for food stuff

Washdown Food

Target Market:  food and beverage industry, no direct contact to food.
For example: slicing, packaging and filling without direct contact to food or beverage. Motor below or beside the food.
Standards:  UL, CE, RohS, FDA
Surface:  White coating. The surface has passed all tests according to FDA Global Migration for indirect contact to food. A direct contact to food is not allowed.
Resistancy:  Against tested cleaning agents (see Test Report), corrosion resistant
Protection class:   IP67
Shaft:  stainless steel (chrome steel X40Cr14)
Shaft seal:  PTFE
Lubricant:  lubricant for bearings suitable for food stuff
Connectors:  stainless steel, flat surface
Size:  AKM2 - AKM6

Transport

We recommend the transport tool ZPZM 120/292 for moving
the AKM7 and AKM8 motors (>20kg).

Suspended Unit ZPMZ 120/292 consists of a beam, suspended
to the crane hook and two double-run chain suspenders.

ZMZ 60/8 suspenders (the number depends on the motor type,
are part of delivery of the motor). The motor may be borne on two
or four runs of the chain suspender.
