Short Description | Set Reference Point |
Description
The SETREF command is used to declare the present position as the reference point (i.e. the actual position is set to the value of ROFFS) and to set the bit that permits the execution of motion blocks. The SETREF command corresponds to the execution of a homing to a reference with NREF=0. In the case of a multiturn encoder, the newly determined ROFFSABS value is automatically stored in the memory of the drive at the end of the homing (command SAVE). If this process is not desired, the updating and saving of ROFSSABS can be switched off by setting bit 0x10000 in DRVCNFG2. If the new ROFFSABS value is to be stored in the encoder's memory, the HSAVE command must be used for this. |
