Synchron Motor Sensorless

Parameters for sensorless operation can be set on the "Synchron Sensorless-Mode" menu page. The sensorless operation consists of two phases which are parameterized via the parameter SLJSWITCH (switchover threshold):

Phase 1: low output frequency (speed < SLJSWITCH)

In this phase, the amplifier works in U/F mode. Magnetization current is generated via the "ID setpoint" (MIMR) parameter and the voltage vector rotated at the desired frequency. If the motor does not turn in this phase despite the specification of a speed setpoint, either the MIMR value is too small or the acceleration ramp SLACCMAX is too steep.

Phase 2: high output frequency (speed ≥ SLJSWITCH)

If the switchover threshold SLJSWITCH is exceeded, the U/F mode is exited after the switchover time SLTSWITCH and the sensorless control is activated. The parameters bandwidth and vector compensation only have an effect in this phase. The settings of the speed controller are also active.

In sensorless mode, monitoring of the motor temperature is usually switched off. It can be activated by ticking the "Monitoring the motor temperature" field.

The "Phase actual" field shows the operating phase of the amplifier.
