On this screen, you can configure, save, and load files on the memory card.
|
During the loading/saving processes, the servo amplifier is disabled and then re-enabled. Depending on the function, the device may be reset and rebooted.Ensure that coupled loads are secured, particularly if they are suspended loads. |
In the upper area of the screen, you can configure the data to be transferred. It makes sense to use the predefined configuration settings for the tasks performed most frequently:
complete Drive Backup: Complete data set including tuning and motion task data; e.g., for an identical replacement device at the same location.
Transferable Backup: Data set without tuning or motion task data; this can be transferred to an amplifier with a different rated current, for example.
You can also decide for yourself which data you would like to save or load. To do this, make your selection from the components that are available. There are various preset enforced connections available for these components; these help you avoid undesirable incompatibilities.

The window in the bottom area displays the files available on the memory card. You can delete files. To do this, select a file in the window and click on the “Delete” button.
The “Load From SD Card” button is not enabled until at least one component has been selected. Click on the button to open a file selection window:
|
In this example, the MDB (motor database) component has been selected; however, the memory card does not contain any files with the extension “.MDB”. In cases like this, open the selection list for the file type and select “*.all”. All available files on the card will now be displayed. Select the required file and click OK. The data is now loaded to the servo amplifier. If no data is displayed, make sure the card has been formatted with a FAT32 file type. . |
The “Save To SD Card” button is not enabled until at least one component has been selected. Click on the button to open a Save As window:
|
In this example, the MDB (motor database) component has been selected. Enter a file name and click OK. The data is now saved to the memory card. |
